Scamp

Treasuring a black walnut, Scamp delights in connecting with the many visitors to her forest. I live in a forest canopy where I have the great privelege of witnessing squirrels bounding about with astounding agility. I created vignettes on her body to show give a sense of their prolific activity and acrobatic feats, while capturing the playful connectivity of an actual Morton Arboretum squirrel that my daughter was playing with when we first visited.

Currently on Exhibit at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL through February 2027
