Cadence
Wings poised for flight, Cadence calls up to other cranes overhead. With this piece, I wanted to give viewers that thrill of wings engaging in the moments before flight. I also wanted to direct people’s gaze up to the sky. When humans look up together, all at the same time, it touches this ancient place of connection to winged migrations, to changing weather, to celestial events, and most of all, to a shared sense of something bigger.
