5 new sculptures - Works in progress by Heather begaetz & fez begaetz for morton arboretum

We’re deeply enjoying sculpting five new pieces with some cherished collaborators! These beings will all be showing at Morton Arboretum from May 2025-27.

Each creature in this series is part of the ecosystem and rhythms of the lands in and around Morton Arboretum. We wanted to explore the ways that creatures and plants are entangled in one another’s existence and in an artistic sense ‘become’ each other as they support each others’ existence.

We’ll share more progress pics and story about each piece soon.
